حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَا أَع

ْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبِي وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ فَضْلُ صَلَاةِ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ أَحَدِكُمْ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسَةً وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Kamil, from Ibrahim, from Ibn Shihab, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab. [Ibrahim said: 'I believe it is from the Prophet ﷺ.' Ahmad's father noted: 'Ya'qub had no doubt about it [being marfu'].'] [the Prophet ﷺ said:] 'The superiority of congregational prayer over one of you praying alone is twenty-five degrees [juz'].'
