حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ الل
َّهِ هَلْ يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوَلِكُلِّكُمْ ثَوْبَانِ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar and Ibn Jurayj, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — that a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may a man pray in a single garment?' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Does each of you have two garments?' [In Ibn Jurayj's narration: Ibn Shihab told me from Abu Salama that Abu Hurayra narrated — and he mentioned it.]
