Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَ
نِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدٍ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'One of you continues to be [counted as] in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer. And the angels continue to send blessings upon one of you as long as he is in the mosque, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him."'
