حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَّ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى فَقَالَ مُوسَى لِآدَمَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَدْخَلْتَ
ذُرِّيَّتَكَ النَّارَ فَقَالَ آدَمُ يَا مُوسَى اصْطَفَاكَ اللَّهُ بِرِسَالَتِهِ وَبِكَلَامِهِ وَأَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ التَّوْرَاةَ فَهَلْ وَجَدْتَ أَنِّي أَهْبِطُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَحَجَّهُ آدَمُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوًا مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Adam and Musa argued. Musa said to Adam: "O Adam, you are the one who drove your offspring into the Fire!" Adam said to Musa: "Allah chose you with His messages and His speech and revealed the Torah to you — did you find [it written] that I would descend?" He said: "Yes." So Adam prevailed over Musa.' [Also narrated via 'Abd al-Razzaq → Ma'mar → Ayyub → Ibn Sirin → Abu Hurayra from the Prophet ﷺ — similar to the narration of Abu Salama.]
