Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّ
بِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَوْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ بِالنَّاسِ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمْ الضَّعِيفَ وَالشَّيْخَ الْكَبِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salama — or one of them — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you leads people in prayer, let him make it light — for among them are the weak, the elderly, and those who have needs.'
