حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْ
دِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ جَارَهُ أَنْ يَضَعَ خَشَبَةً عَلَى جِدَارِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مَالِي أَرَاكُمْ مُعْرِضِينَ وَاللَّهِ لَأَرْمِيَنَّ بِهَا بَيْنَ أَكْتَافِكُمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hurmuz — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let none of you prevent his neighbor from placing a wooden beam on his wall.' Then Abu Hurayra said: 'What is the matter with me — I see you turning away?! By Allah, I will certainly cast it [this ruling] between your shoulders [and compel you to follow it]!'
