English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Paradise and Hell disputed [with each other]. Paradise said: "O Lord, why is it that only the poor and the lowly among people enter me?" And Hell said: "Why is it that only the tyrants and the arrogant enter me?" He said to Hell: "You are My punishment — I afflict with you whoever I will." And He said to Paradise: "You are My mercy — I bestow you upon whoever I will. Each of you will have its fill." As for Paradise — Allah will create for it whoever He wills [to fill it]. As for Hell — [people] will be thrown into it and it will say: {Is there any more?} [50:30] — until He places His foot in it. At that point it will be filled, parts of it drawing together, and it will say: "Enough! Enough! Enough!"'
