English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn al-Musayyab — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No fara' and no 'atira [pre-Islamic animal offerings]. The fara' was the first offspring born [from a flock] — they used to slaughter it [for their idols — this practice is now abolished in Islam].'
