English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited [the use of] al-dubba' [dried gourd vessels], al-muzaffat [pitch-coated containers], al-hantam [green clay jugs], and al-naqir [hollowed-out tree stumps used as vessels] [for fermenting or storing intoxicating drinks].
