َرَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Kathir — that he heard Abu Hurayra say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Khamr [intoxicants] come from these two trees: the date palm and the grapevine."'
