English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi, from Malik, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama — that two women from Banu Hudhayl [struck each other, and] one of them threw [something at] the other, causing her to miscarry her fetus. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled in that case: a ghurra — [a blood-money compensation of] a male or female slave.
