English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab — that Abu Hurayra said: 'If I were to see gazelles in Medina, I would not startle them — for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What is between its two lava fields [la-batayha] is inviolable [haram]."'
