English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel [a journey of] a day and a night except in the company of a mahram [male relative whom she is permanently forbidden to marry].'
