English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn Yassar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I was commanded [to emigrate] to a town that devours other towns — they call it Yathrib, but it is al-Madinah. It purges people the way a bellows [al-kir] purges the dross of iron.'
