Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْأَغَرُّ أ
َبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَاحِبُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ جَلَسَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ يَكْتُبُونَ كُلَّ مَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طَوَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الصُّحُفَ وَدَخَلَتْ تَسْمَعُ الذِّكْرَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from al-Agharr Abu 'Abdillah (a companion of Abu Hurayra) — that Abu Hurayra said: 'On the day of Jumu'a [Friday], the angels sit at the gates of the mosque writing down everyone who comes to the Friday prayer. When the imam comes out, the angels fold up their scrolls and enter to listen to the dhikr [the sermon].'
