Hadith #101
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ
لَا يُؤْمِنُ قَالُوا وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجَارُ لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا بَوَائِقُهُ قَالَ شَرُّهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Isma'il ibn 'Umar, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Sa'id al-Maqburi — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!" They said: "Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The one whose neighbor is not safe from his harm." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is his harm?" He said: "His evil."
