حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ عَجْلَانَ مَوْلَى الْمُشْمَعِلّ

ِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ يَمَسُّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ إِلَّا مَرْيَمَ ابْنَةَ عِمْرَانَ وَابْنَهَا عِيسَى عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Isma'il ibn 'Umar, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from 'Ajlan the freed slave of al-Mushma'ill — from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Every newborn of the children of Adam is touched by the Shaytan with his finger, except Maryam the daughter of 'Imran and her son 'Isa (عليهما السلام)."
