Hadith #103
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْر
َةَ فَرَأَى أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَرَسًا مِنْ رِقَاعٍ فِي يَدِ جَارِيَةٍ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَرَى هَذَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا يَعْمَلُ هَذَا مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Isma'il ibn 'Umar, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from a man from Quraysh, from his father — who was with Abu Hurayra when Abu Hurayra saw a horse made of patches (a toy) in the hand of a girl. He said: "Do you not see this? the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Only those who have no share in the Hereafter make these.'"
