English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from Sufyan ibn Husayn, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Anas ibn Hakim al-Dabbi — who said: Abu Hurayra said to me: "When you go to the people of your land, inform them that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The first thing the servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection is his obligatory prayer. If it is sound' — Yazid said once: 'If he completed it' — 'then it is accepted. Otherwise, it will be supplemented from his voluntary prayers. Then the rest of his obligatory deeds will be treated the same way.'"
