حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْزِلُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ فَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ وَيَمْحُو الصَّلِيبَ وَتُجْمَعُ لَهُ الصَّلَاةُ وَيُعْطَى الْمَالُ حَتَّى لَا يُقْبَلَ وَيَضَعُ الْخَرَاجَ وَيَنْزِلُ الرَّوْحَاءَ فَيَحُجّ
ُ مِنْهَا أَوْ يَعْتَمِرُ أَوْ يَجْمَعُهُمَا قَالَ وَتَلَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ { وَإِنْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا } فَزَعَمَ حَنْظَلَةُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ عِيسَى فَلَا أَدْرِي هَذَا كُلُّهُ حَدِيثُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ شَيْءٌ قَالَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from Sufyan, from al-Zuhri, from Hanzala — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "'Isa ibn Maryam (عليه السلام) will descend. He will kill the pig, destroy the cross, combine the prayers, distribute wealth until no one will accept it, abolish the jizya, and camp at al-Rawha' to perform Hajj or 'Umra from there, or both." Abu Hurayra recited: {And there is none from the People of the Book but that he will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them}. Hanzala claimed that Abu Hurayra said: 'He will believe in him before the death of 'Isa.' He said: 'I do not know if all of this is from the Prophet ﷺ or something Abu Hurayra said.'
