English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Salih ibn Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not call a grapevine 'al-karm' (the noble), for the truly noble one (al-karm) is the believing man."
