حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ حِينَ حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ لَا تَضْرِبُوا عَلَيَّ فُسْطَاطًا وَلَا تَتْبَعُونِي بِمِجْمَرٍ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ قَدِّمُونِي قَدِّمُونِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الرَّجُلُ السُّوءُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَهُ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from al-Maqburi, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mihran — that Abu Hurayra said when death approached him: "Do not erect a tent over me, and do not follow me with incense, and hasten with me, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'When the righteous man is placed on his bier, he says: Take me forward, take me forward! And when the evil man is placed on his bier, he says: Woe to me! Where are you taking me?'"
