حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمّ

َدِ بْنِ وَاسِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَتَرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةَ وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ

English Translation

Yazid informed us, Hisham ibn Hassan informed us, from Muhammad ibn Wasi', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever conceals (the faults of) his Muslim brother in this world, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection.'
