حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَ
رَاءَ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْبَهَ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فُلَانٍ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ كَانَ يُطِيلُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنْ الظُّهْرِ وَيُخَفِّفُ الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ وَيُخَفِّفُ الْعَصْرَ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِوَسَطِ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ بِطِوَالِ الْمُفَصَّلِ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Abi Fudayk narrated to us, al-Dahhak ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn Abdullah, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'I never prayed behind anyone whose prayer more closely resembled the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than so-and-so.' Sulayman said: He used to lengthen the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and shorten the last two, shorten 'Asr, recite in Maghrib with the short surahs, recite in 'Isha with the middle-length surahs, and recite in Fajr with the long surahs.
