حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْعَلَاءَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا يَغَارُ يَغَارُ وَاللَّهُ أَشَدُّ غَيْرًا

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us who said: I heard al-'Ala narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A believer is the mirror of his brother believer, and a believer is the brother of a believer. He protects him from ruin and guards him from behind.'
