English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, I heard al-'Ala narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Shall I not guide you to what by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Perfecting wudu despite discomfort, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after prayer. That is the ribat (guarding the frontiers), that is the ribat, that is the ribat.'
