English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, from al-'Ala, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Hasten to do good deeds before trials come like pieces of a dark night, when a man wakes up as a believer and by evening he is a disbeliever, or he is a believer in the evening and by morning he is a disbeliever — he sells his religion for a worldly gain.'
