حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ أُثَالٍ أَوْ أُثَالَةَ أَسْلَمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى حَائِطِ بَنِي فُلَانٍ فَمُرُوهُ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ

English Translation

Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Abdullah ibn 'Umar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that Thumamah ibn Uthal — or Uthalah — accepted Islam. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Take him to the garden of so-and-so, and command him to perform ghusl.' He performed ghusl, prayed two rak'ahs, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Your brother has become a good Muslim.'
