حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِ

Body (Matn)

ي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ وَنَهَانِي عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ أَمَرَنِي بِرَكْعَتَيْ الضُّحَى كُلَّ يَوْمٍ وَالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَنَهَانِي عَنْ نَقْرَةٍ كَنَقْرَةِ الدِّيكِ وَإِقْعَاءٍ كَإِقْعَاءِ الْكَلْبِ وَالْتِفَاتٍ كَالْتِفَاتِ الثَّعْلَبِ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Mujahid, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me to pray two rak'ahs of Duha and to not sleep until I pray witr.
