‏ ‏وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏لَوْلَا ‏ ‏بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ ‏ ‏لَمْ ‏ ‏يَخْنَزْ ‏ ‏اللَّحْمُ وَلَوْلَا ‏ ‏حَوَّاءُ ‏ ‏لَمْ تَخُنْ أُنْثَى زَوْجَهَا الدَّهْرَ ‏

English Translation

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Were it not for the Children of Israel, meat would not have spoiled. And were it not for Hawwa (Eve), no female would have ever betrayed her husband.'
