English Translation

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'While a man was in the wilderness, he heard a voice from a cloud saying: Water the garden of so-and-so. The cloud moved and poured its water on a stony plain. A channel collected all of the water. He followed the water and came upon a man standing in his garden, directing the water with his shovel. He said: O servant of Allah, what is your name? He said: So-and-so — the very name he had heard from the cloud.'
