حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ

بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Bakr, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Shihab, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salama ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "When the heat becomes intense, delay the prayer until it cools down, for the intensity of heat is from the breath of Hellfire."
