Hadith #59
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَا
بٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Bakr and 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Shihab, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab — who heard Abu Hurayra say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said — though 'Abd al-Razzaq did not attribute it to the Prophet ﷺ: "May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship."
