Hadith #92

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Zayd ibn al-Hubab, from Muhammad ibn Hilal al-Qurashi, from his father — who heard Abu Hurayra say: "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque. When he stood up, we stood up with him. Then a Bedouin came to him and said: 'Give me something, O Muhammad!' He said: 'No, and I seek Allah's forgiveness.' The Bedouin pulled at him and scratched him. The Companions wanted to deal with the Bedouin, but he said: 'Leave him.' Then he gave him something. His way of swearing was to say: 'No, and I seek Allah's forgiveness.'"
