Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَوْبَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Zayd ibn al-Hubab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Thawban, from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Fadl, from al-A'raj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from four things: from the punishment of Hellfire, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the trial of the Dajjal.
