Hadith #126

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِ
ي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَتْ شَجَرَةٌ تُؤْذِي أَهْلَ الطَّرِيقِ فَقَطَعَهَا رَجُلٌ فَنَحَّاهَا عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ فَدَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you sneezes, let him say: Al-hamdu lillah (All praise is due to Allah). And let his brother or companion say to him: Yarhamuk Allah (May Allah have mercy on you). And when he says to him: Yarhamuk Allah, let him reply: Yahdikum Allah wa yuslih balakum (May Allah guide you and rectify your affairs).'
