حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ ع
َبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَغَارُ وَاللَّهُ يَغَارُ وَمِنْ غَيْرَةِ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ شَيْئًا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Aban al-'Attar narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, he said: Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to me, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: 'Do not single out the night of Friday for night prayer from among the other nights, and do not single out the day of Friday for fasting from among the other days, unless it falls on a day one of you habitually fasts.'
