‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏شُعْبَةُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الزُّهْرِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سَعِيدٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ ‏ ‏النَّجَاشِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا ‏

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited meeting riders on the road (to buy merchandise before they reach the market).
