حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يُونُسَ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ جُبَيْر
ٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلَا حَوَّاءُ لَمْ تَخُنْ أُنْثَى زَوْجَهَا الدَّهْرَ

English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, 'Amr, meaning Ibn al-Harith, informed me, Abu Yunus Sulaym ibn Jubayr, the freed slave of Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), informed us that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you prays, let him not spit in front of him, for he is conversing privately with Allah as long as he is in his prayer place. Nor to his right, for there is an angel on his right. Let him spit to his left or under his foot and bury it.'
