Hadith #199

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ
عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُفْتَحُ الْأَرْيَافُ فَيَأْتِي نَاسٌ إِلَى مَعَارِفِهِمْ فَيَذْهَبُونَ مَعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ

English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad narrated to us, from Yahya ibn al-Nadr, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Take off your sandals and sit in the middle of the gathering, for the one who sits in the middle of a gathering is the most just among them.'
