English Translation

Hujayn ibn al-Muthanna Abu 'Umar narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Salamah al-Majishun narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Fadl, from 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Imam has been appointed to be followed. When he says takbir, say takbir. When he bows, bow. When he says: Sami' Allahu liman hamidah, say: Rabbana wa laka al-hamd. When he prostrates, prostrate. When he prays sitting, pray sitting, all of you.'
