قَالَ حَدَّثَنَاه أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَا

زِمٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مَا يَرَى أَنْ تَبْلُغَ حَيْثُ بَلَغَتْ يَهْوِي بِهَا فِي النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا

English Translation

Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Hour will not be established until you fight a people whose sandals are of hair, and until you fight the Turks — people with small eyes, red faces, and flat noses, as if their faces are hammered shields.'
