و قَالَ أَسْوَدُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَفْسُقْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جُهِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ
English Translation
And Aswad said with this chain: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When it is the day one of you is fasting, let him not engage in rafath (obscene speech) nor fusuq (sinfulness) nor jahl (ignorance/foolishness). If someone insults him or fights him, let him say: I am fasting.'
