English Translation
Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Abu Yunus, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shaytan ties three knots at the back of the head of one of you when he sleeps. At each knot he says: You have a long night ahead, so sleep. If he wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone. If he performs wudu', another knot is undone. If he prays, all the knots are undone, and he wakes up energetic and in good spirits. Otherwise, he wakes up lazy and in bad spirits.'
