English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu Yunus, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that a Bedouin went on a military expedition with the Prophet ﷺ to Khaybar. He (the Bedouin) was hit by an arrow and died. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'He is a shahid (martyr).' Some people doubted this. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I testify that he is a shahid.' Then he said to Bilal (or to someone): 'Look at his belongings.' They found that he had taken two shoelaces or one shoelace from the spoils. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Two shoelaces — or one shoelace — of fire.'
