حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَ
بِيحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ الْمَنِيحَةُ تَغْدُو بِأَجْرٍ وَتَرُوحُ بِأَجْرٍ وَمَنِيحَةُ النَّاقَةِ كَعِتَاقَةِ الْأَحْمَرِ وَمَنِيحَةُ الشَّاةِ كَعِتَاقَةِ الْأَسْوَدِ

English Translation
Yunus narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Husayn, from 'Abdullah ibn Sabihah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not strike your female servants.' Abu Hurayrah said: Then 'Umar came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the women have become emboldened against their husbands.' So he permitted striking them. Then many women went around the family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complaining about their husbands. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Many women have come to the family of Muhammad complaining about their husbands. Those men are not the best among you.'
