حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الل

English Translation

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Ibn Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Qurrah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every child is born upon the fitrah. Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian.'
