Abu Ja'far narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam informed us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has means and delays payment, his honor and punishment become permissible.' (i.e., it is permissible to speak about him and to take him to court).
