Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا فَوْقِي بِرَعْدٍ وَصَوَاعِقَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُطُونُهُمْ كَالْبُيُو
تِ فِيهَا الْحَيَّاتُ تُرَى مِنْ خَارِجِ بُطُونِهِمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ أَكَلَةُ الرِّبَا فَلَمَّا نَزَلْتُ وَانْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِذَا أَنَا بِرَهْجٍ وَدُخَانٍ وَأَصْوَاتٍ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ الشَّيَاطِينُ يَحْرِفُونَ عَلَى أَعْيُنِ بَنِي آدَمَ أَنْ لَا يَتَفَكَّرُوا فِي مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَرَأَتْ الْعَجَائِبَ

English Translation
'Abd al-Samad ibn 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Abu al-Salt, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Moses was a modest man who would not show any part of his skin out of modesty. So some of the Children of Israel harmed him by saying: He only conceals himself because of a defect in his skin. So Allah عز وجل wanted to clear him of what they said. One day he went out alone and placed his garments on a stone, then bathed. When he finished, the stone moved away with his garment.'
