English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let no man be alone with a woman, and let no woman travel except with a mahram (male relative).' A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have enlisted for such-and-such battle, and my wife has gone out for Hajj.' He said: 'Go and perform Hajj with your wife.'
